When a new Zombies map launches, the community solves it in public over the
following days. This page is that process written down as it happens: what has been confirmed,
what is still only a promising lead, and what has been ruled out — timestamped, so you can see
how old each claim is. Between launches it lists the questions our published guides are still
open about.
No hunt is live right now
Every map we cover is solved and documented, so there is no active hunt to follow. When
the next map drops this page opens within hours of launch and updates as findings come in —
confirmed steps, leads we are testing, and theories we have ruled out, each with a timestamp.
Once the quest is solved the hunt closes and points at the finished walkthrough, so nothing
half-true is left lying around pretending to be a guide.
Open questions we're tracking (8)
These are the points our own guides say they are not certain about. They are listed here
rather than buried, because a guide that hides its soft spots is asking you to trust it further
than it has earned. Each one links to the guide it came from.
Unverified specifics: the commonly cited method is to rack up a large number of Retriever-only kills (reported around 40 in a single round) and then retrieve the Redeemer from the lava-tunnel alcove; exact counts vary by source and patch, so confirm live. — Hell's Redeemer
Cycling the charge (unverified input): the charge element rotates as you hold the charge — watch the charge glow colour to confirm which effect is loaded before firing. — step 7
Possible exploit, flagged because it may not last: players think combining uncrafting with Mule Kick's multipack could duplicate Pack-a-Punch tiers in Cursed mode. Unconfirmed, and the sort of thing that gets patched. — step 10
Unexplained, logged as an open lead: one player got a “NO ENTRY — DO NOT COME IN” message with a dark-blue badge at a floor plate in the Caltheris temple entrance. Nobody has reproduced the trigger and there was nothing interactable there. — Caltheris pads and targets — the purple-lantern door
Reported extra, unconfirmed: a Peeks head picked up at the house beforehand may also be required. — The dance-off — cassette, fireplace, calling card
Super Easter Egg: Season 05 Reloaded added the “Aeon” universal Pack-a-Punch camo as the Super-EE reward. Whether Rex Infernus is part of the requirement is not yet confirmed. — New with Rex Infernus — weapons, camos and the Aeon Super-EE camo (settled)
The fourth is still unsolved community-wide. Nobody has it. — Dark Ops — three solved, one still unknown
How a hunt works
Confirmed — reproduced, or stated consistently by independent complete runs.
Promising lead — reported and plausible, not yet reproduced. Treat as unproven.
Ruled out — tested, and it does not do what was claimed. Kept visible, because a
dead end that stays published saves the next person the same wasted hour.
Every entry is timestamped. When the quest is solved the hunt closes and the
confirmed findings become the walkthrough — see how guides are
verified.
