Key areas

Village Square / Riverside

Central hub — the power generator, the Pilot Light flame trap and the riverside weather vane.

Sewers

Blown open from the square floor — the main generator, the Pack-a-Punch pipe route and the MP40.

Morgue

Bunker sub-area — the Tesla Gun core, raven paintings and the Red Talon safe.

Laboratory / Bunker

The electric-trap hallway, several Blitz machines and Tesla-part slots.

Command Room

The Weapon Forge, the canopy crank and the Voice of God controls; Pack-a-Punch is next door.

Emperor's Chamber (Salt Mines)

The Barbarossa statue, the Geistkraft Device, the Hands/Voice of God and the boss arena.

Steps at a glance

  1. Turn on power (3 gas valves → Pilot Light trap → sewer generator)
  2. Reroute the bunker power (Morgue + Lab panels)
  3. Charge the Geistkraft Device (soul box)
  4. Escort it → build the Tesla Gun (barrel + core)
  5. Activate the Right Hand of God (fuse colour sequence)
  6. Lightning Rod defence
  7. Repair the Left Hand of God (3 Zeppelin batteries)
  8. Calibrate the Voice of God (scan the 4 raven paintings)
  9. Input the raven numerals
  10. Start the Panzermörder Klaus fight
  11. Battery-stun Klaus ×3
  12. Retrieve the artifact → Fireworks
Build the Tesla Gun early and buy Armour Plating (WWII's Juggernog). The four raven paintings give roman-numeral clues that are randomised each match — screenshot them the moment you scan with a Brenner head, so you don't have to farm another Brenner. Note WWII also ships a guided 'casual' Easter egg with on-screen objective markers that walks you through the early flow (power, the Tesla Gun); the hard quest below continues well beyond where those markers stop.

1
Village Square · Sewers

Turn on power

+

Hold-interact each of the three gas valves until its dial reaches 60 and lights green (release early and it falls back): valve 1 behind the armor station, valve 2 left of the bunker entrance, valve 3 in Riverside by the Pub. Then fire the central Pilot Light flame trap to blow open the square floor, drop in and activate the main generator in the Sewers.

2
Morgue · Laboratory

Reroute the bunker power

+

Open the Bunker, Laboratory and Morgue, then throw the Laboratory switch (upper rear level) and the Morgue switch (near the STG-44) within about a minute of each other. Now open the Salt Mine door in Command to reach the Emperor's Chamber (shoot any Bomber's bomb from a distance before the narrow stairs).

3
Sewers

Pack-a-Punch

+

Press the red button in the Sewers (by the MP-40) to arm the disposal-tube network, then ride all three tubes and press the red landing-room button after each: the Tower tube (back-left, left of the Waffe 28), the Command tube (near the Grease Gun) and the Laboratory tube (by the electric trap). The Pack-a-Punch cage then rises (upgrades 5,000 Jolts; upgraded-ammo 4,000).

4
Emperor's Chamber

Charge the Geistkraft Device

+

Hold-interact the hilt on the central machine by the Barbarossa statue and kill ~15-20 zombies near the soul box to charge it, then turn the Command Room crank and press the red button.

5
Command Room · Lab · Morgue

Build the Tesla Gun

+

Escort the Device (stand in its red zone killing zombies) to the Laboratory for the barrel, then the Morgue for the core, and place both in the Weapon Forge in the Command Room. A Brenner spawns on completion.

6
Emperor's Chamber · fuse boxes

Right Hand of God

+

Interact with the Right Hand of God in the Emperor's Chamber, then read the power-grid machine in Command (four numbered lights = the required colour order). Set the four power boxes in that order, each cycling Rot/Grün/Blau (red/green/blue): (1) Command, right of the grid machine · (2) Sewers, fire-trap side of Pack-a-Punch · (3) Sewers, Riverside side of Pack-a-Punch · (4) rear of the Pub beside the Tower door. A wrong colour or order resets you to box 1.

7
Flak Tower

Lightning Rod defence

+

Defend the central lightning rod, then the two side rods, from the zombie waves.

8
Sky · Emperor's Chamber

Left Hand of God

+

Shoot one of the Zeppelin's four orange lights to drop an Überschnalle battery, charge it with nearby kills, and slot it into the Left Hand of God — repeat three times.

9
4 painting POIs

Voice of God — raven paintings

+

Kill a Brenner, carry its head and hold ADS on each of the four raven paintings to reveal a raven emblem and a Roman numeral. The paintings are fixed — only the revealed numerals/orientation vary each match: Moonraven (Morgue, lowest floor opposite the sewer door), Stormraven (Pub, 2nd floor), Deathraven (the Pack-a-Punch room) and Bloodraven (outside the Church near the M1928). Record each emblem→numeral pairing.

10
Voice of God

Input the numerals

+

Enter the four raven numerals at the Voice of God machine and activate it. A red electric bubble then appears above the Geistkraft Device in the Emperor's Chamber — shoot it with the Tesla Gun to reveal and claim the sword hilt before the boss sequence begins.

11
Emperor's Chamber

Panzermörder Klaus

+

Shoot the red bubble above the Device with the Tesla Gun and grab the hilt. Three times: shoot the Zeppelin for a battery, charge it with kills, and use it to stun and attach to Klaus. The third cycle kills him.

12
Emperor's Chamber

Retrieve the artifact

+

Grab the artifact to complete Ave Maria (Fireworks).

Reward: Fireworks. The harder Dark Reunion continuation (all four Tesla variants + the Red Talon/records/Ravenherz steps) is in the Side Easter Eggs below.

Song

“Dark Wings”

+

Don Veca ft. Nikola Printz. Tied to the Dark Reunion gramophone — get the record from the Enigma/spin-top step, place it on the Pub 2nd-floor gramophone, and charge it with Red Talon sword kills.

  1. This is the Dark Reunion quest song (there's no standalone 3-item trigger)
  2. Get the record from the Enigma-machine + spin-top step
  3. Place it on the record player / gramophone on the 2nd floor of the Pub
  4. Kill zombies around it with the Red Talon sword to charge it — 'Dark Wings' plays

Tesla Gun — 4 elemental variants

+

Upgrade the base Tesla Gun into Midnight, Reaper, Bloodthirst and Hurricane — each via an Überschnalle battery, the Lightning Rod defence and a Weapon Forge insert. All four are needed for Dark Reunion.

  1. Build the base Tesla Gun first (main quest). Each variant follows the same shape: get an Überschnalle battery, charge it, complete the Lightning Rod defence, defend the battery at a Tesla-part slot, then insert the part in the Weapon Forge
  2. Midnight (green orb/laser): Brenner-head the statue left of the Courtyard stairs, shoot it for the battery, charge in the Courtyard trap → Lab slot
  3. Reaper (delayed bomb): lead a Wüstling to the Sewers wall to smash a compartment, charge via the Sewer Saw Trap with Bomber souls → Morgue slot
  4. Bloodthirst (raw damage): shoot the flickering Riverside street lamp and the green spark trail, collect the Morgue battery, charge on ~30-50 Pests → Morgue slot
  5. Hurricane (cyclone): let a Bomber detonate over the Lab panel, charge in the Lab electric-trap hallway with Wüstling chargers → Lab slot
  6. All four built in one match unlocks Dark Reunion
Side quest

Dark Reunion (hardcore continuation)

+

Don't end Ave Maria — build all four Tesla variants, then do the Red Talon sword, spin-tops, Enigma records, gramophone and Ravenherz click-code steps before re-fighting Klaus.

  1. Do NOT shoot the red bubble to end Ave Maria — build all four Tesla variants first
  2. Red Talon sword: re-activate the Lab/Morgue/Salt-Mine panels, shoot the coils, Brenner-scan the two safes, match the purple fingerprints, collect the coin halves and interact under the Barbarossa statue
  3. Spin-tops: collect the coloured spinning tops from the rooftops and place them in the toy-store holes
  4. Enigma records: read the two Enigma machines, set the spin-tops to the matching clock times, take the record
  5. Gramophone: stop the riverside weather vane, shoot the yellow circle and the water-wheel coils with upgraded Tesla Guns, then play the record on the Pub gramophone
  6. Ravenherz: count the gramophone's four click-groups (1-5 each), input them at the Voice of God from Bloodraven clockwise, then shoot the chandelier in the shown order — then re-fight Klaus for Dark Reunion

“The Classic” PPSh-41

+

Drop 250 Jolts into each of the four money bowls around the map to add the buffed PPSh-41 to the Mystery Box pool.

  1. Find the four money bowls: Morgue right of the Tesla machine · Village Square burned area left of the SVT-40 · Riverside behind the sandbags in front of the M1927 building · Upper Pub right of Kugelblitz
  2. Use Drop Jolts (the HUD button above the shovel) to deposit Jolts into each bowl until every one is funded
  3. 'The Classic' PPSh-41 (bigger mag, faster fire) then joins the Mystery Box pool — pull for it and Pack-a-Punch it

Once the bunker doors are open, Dr. Straub hides in one unwatched zombie window at a time — shoot him for the Lurking Around achievement. Turn away and re-check; confirmed spots include the Village Entrance left of the spawn exit, two Riverside upper windows by the Weather Vane, Laboratory windows behind Schildblitz, and several Morgue windows around the power switch and Spike Trap.
